For 187 Bluetooth systems only. Use the guide below to connect your controller, assign zones, and start customizing colors and effects.
Turn vehicle power ON.
Open the 5150 Whips app.
Tap the Bluetooth icon.
Select your 187 controller.
Create a group.
Assign your zones.
Tap Edit to customize colors, effects, speed, and brightness.
If the controller does not appear right away, make sure the system has power and Bluetooth is enabled on your device before reopening the app. If the controller no longer appears, make sure it is not already paired to another phone.
Choose from preset lighting effects or run AUTO mode.
Assign lights to groups for synchronized or separated control.
Sync your lighting with music directly from your device.
Create custom colors with RGB sliders or the color wheel.
Build your own light show or dial in one exact custom color directly in the app.
Remove saved colors first, then tap the + button to build your own custom pattern.

The PNP harness connects battery power, a rocker switch, and your whip controller through a fused wiring lead.
Battery → Switch → Controller → Whips
